What Job Would You Choose After Hogwarts?
This is pretty funny because I was just chatting about this with Angela when she chose The Department of Mysteries last week for her favorite place in the series. I would love to be an Unspeakable. How much fun would that be? I went on a little rant about it in her comment section when she busted out The Department of Mysteries for her favorite place. I would never get bored messing with all the wild items found in there. My brain would be perfectly satisfied trying to work out all the puzzles since these rooms has been studied for centuries and never figured out.
The Department of Mysteries is on the ninth level of the Ministry. You pretty much have to work your way through a maze just to get to the different chambers that it holds. There is a Brain Room, a Love Chamber, a Space Chamber, a Time Room (filled with time-turners), a Hall of Prophecies, and a large auditorium (Death Room?) not sure on that one. The Department apparently works to uncover the secrets of all of these things and more.
Unspeakables are so called because they are forbidden to discuss anything about the work that they do, or the mysteries that they unravel. It's all very Hush, Hush!
